You set what it works from
CivAura gathers the funder’s material itself, but it writes from project details your team has confirmed. When something is missing, it asks you a direct question rather than filling the gap itself.
Control
CivAura finds the funding, reads the notice, and writes the application — the work a grant office never has time for. It does not take over the judgment, the authority, or the approvals that belong to your organization, and it is built so you can prove that at every step.
How approvals work
CivAura moves the work forward and stops at every point where a person should decide. That is not a limitation bolted on afterwards — it is how the product is built.

Every draft lands in your workspace first. Nothing reaches a funder, a portal, or a colleague until someone on your team decides it should.
Every sentence, figure, and form field is yours to rewrite. Update a project detail and CivAura flags anything written from the old version.
Signatures, certifications, and the act of submitting stay with the people your organization has authorized to make them. That is by design.
Nothing is a black box
Grant work gets audited, questioned, and inherited by whoever comes next. CivAura is built so the answer to “where did this come from?” is always one click away.
Each written section is linked to the requirement it answers and the project details behind it, so a reviewer can trace a claim back to its source in seconds.
Outstanding questions, missing documents, and anything CivAura was not confident about are listed for you — so a review is checking work, not hunting for gaps.
What was submitted, what supported it, and who approved it stay together, so audits and reports draw on the same history as the application.
Your information
Everything your team puts into CivAura — project details, uploaded documents, drafts, and award records — lives inside your organization’s workspace.
Your workspace and everything in it sit behind the CivAura sign-in. There is no public route to customer data.
What a signed-in person can reach is limited to their organization, and cross-organization access is covered by our test suite.
Uploaded files use scoped records and controlled access. This website reads no customer data at all.
Evaluation and procurement
Security reviews, data-handling questions, and procurement requirements look different at a city, a university, a health system, and a nonprofit. Bring yours and we will work through them with your team rather than pointing you at a page.
